Daniel Poole Called as Advancement Associate

Dan PooleBethany Theological Seminary announces the employment of Daniel Poole as half-time advancement associate, beginning August 1, 2009. In this position, Dan's primary responsibilities will be for donor relations and annual fund solicitation.

 Dan's most recent ministry has been a 13-year pastorate with the Covington, Ohio Church of the Brethren, which he will be leaving at the end of July. Prior to that he was an associate pastor at the Elizabethtown, Pa., Church of the Brethren. For the last two years, Dan has served at Bethany as half-time coordinator for ministry formation, and will continue in this position.

Dan is originally from Wabash, Ind. He is a graduate of Manchester College and of Bethany Theological Seminary (MDiv. 1991). He and his wife Kelli are the parents of a son, Kevin.

Dan is highly appreciative of the impact Bethany had on his personal and ministry journey, and communicates a genuine enthusiasm for the role of Bethany in the church and the wider community.
