The Church of the Brethren Webcast Series, in collaboration with the Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, with technical production courtesy of Bethany Theological Seminary, hosted live interactive video streaming of Honoring a Legacy, Embracing a Future: 300 Hundred Years of Brethren Heritage at the Young Center on October 11-13. This international conference on the 300th anniversary of the Brethren movement (1708–2008) focused on the historical development and cultural life of the Church of the Brethren and related groups.

Bethany Theological Seminary is pleased to announce the launch of its updated website. The site has a new design and many new features.

The Bethany Special Collection, housed in Earlham College's Lilly Library, will be closed for the duration of a conservation project expected to last to the end of the 2007-2008 academic year. Direct any inquires regarding the collection to Murray Wagner at wagnemu@bethanyseminary.edu .

The Bethany Theological Seminary Board of Trustees has called Ruthann Knechel Johansen of Granger, Indiana, as president, beginning July 1, 2007.
