This position is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Nate Inglis and Russell Haitch to plan and implement two conferences on Theology and Science at the Bethany campus in Richmond. There will be one conference in the Fall semester and one in the Spring. Each conferences will be three days (Friday – Sunday) and are intended for the Bethany, ESR, and Earlham College communities, local ministers, and the general public. The person in this position will be involved in regular planning meetings and have the opportunity to gain experience doing a wide variety of tasks related to event and conference planning.

Duties & Responsibilities

Help with internal and external coordination, publicity, recruitment of volunteers, set up and logistics, contact and follow up with participants.

Skills and Qualifications

The person in this position should be self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks, and willing to take on an evolving set of tasks leading up to the conferences. Social media experience is preferable. This position is open to connections students, though anyone working in this position will be expected to be on campus during the conferences.
