Hathaway Selected for Wabash Center Program

Dr. Joelle Hathaway, assistant professor of theological studies and director of the Master of Arts in Theopoetics and writing program, has been selected to participate in a workshop for early-career theology faculty at the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion. The workshop, which will include a hybrid of online and in-person sessions, is entitled “Craft in the Teaching Life: Sustaining Pleasure in the Teaching Life.”

The workshop will encourage the 13 participants, faculty members at seminaries and universities across the United States, to engage in conversation, artistic experimentation, and creative expression alongside crafts persons and artisans.

Located in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and funded by Lilly Endowment, the Wabash Center is dedicated to improving teaching in theology and religion.
