Karen Schroeder has been hired as the new executive assistant to the president at Bethany Theological Seminary, beginning October 1, 2018.
Schroeder comes to Bethany from Earlham College, where she had been employed as administrative assistant to the academic dean. In eighteen years of service at Earlham, she also held the positions of executive administrative assistant to the vice president of student life and dean of students, office manager for the Student Life Division, and administrative assistant and recruiting secretary for Earlham College athletics.
In the Richmond (IN) Community Schools, Schroeder served as a certified special education paraprofessional and substitute teacher at the elementary level. She also worked as a gymnastics instructor and coach in Richmond and holds certification in behavior communication.
