We will also highlight area food vendors who will be on site, selling delicious fare to enjoy while browsing the ceramic booths! Plus, there is nothing like good, live music to liven up any festival! Free Live Music — The Richmond Music Festival
“The Starr-Gennett Foundation presents the Richmond Music Festival, September 11-13, 2015, in the Historic Depot District and Wayne County Veterans Memorial Park. The festival features music written and inspired by legendary gospel artist Thomas A. Dorsey, also known as Georgia Tom Dorsey, a 2007 Walk of Fame inductee. Dorsey recorded blues for the Gennett label from 1923 to 1930.”

Richmond Farmers Market
The Richmond Farmers Market is a Growers?Only Market to look out for our local farmers and producers. Vendors are the growers and producers of the fruits, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, baked goods, dried goods, jams, honey, syrup and/or other approved products they intend to sell at the market. The Richmond Farmers Market supports local, small?scale farmers and gardeners by providing a marketing opportunity to sell homegrown produce, and homemade farm?related items directly to consumers.

Founders Day
Food and craft vendors will be on the square from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Breakfast will be available at the library at 8 a.m. Saturday, and beans and cornbread can be found starting at 11 a.m. both days at the Templeton Cabin.
Early American demonstrations, including glass blowing, rope making, candle making and tin punching, will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. A juggler will perform three shows Saturday and a magician plans three shows Sunday, and live music takes place both afternoons.
Other activities include butter churning, a cobbler, cake walk, Revolutionary War speaker and pioneer games. An auction of antiques and handcrafted items takes place at 2 p.m. Sunday next to the Templeton Cabin.

Canal Days
Cambridge City will celebrate the 43rd annual Canal Days on Saturday and Sunday, with many activities taking place along or near U.S. 40.
This year’s festival theme is “Honoring Lincoln.” The theme complements a new mural being painted at the corner of South Center and Main streets to commemorate Abraham Lincoln’s funeral train passing through the town in 1865. The mural will be dedicated at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Vendors will offer arts, crafts, food and games from 9 a.m. to dark Saturday. Booths will re-open at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Saturday’s activities include a golf tourney, 5K run, a kids’ fishing contest and live entertainment throughout the afternoon and evening on the stage. A gospel talent show begins at 6 p.m. at The River, 610 S. Fifth St.
A public dance takes place from 9 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday at the American Legion. Admission is $3 for singles and $5 for couples. A parade takes place at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The final event is a duck race at the Creitz Park swinging bridge at 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are for sale at the Cambridge City Area Chamber of Commerce welcome tent. The top prize is $500.
